This study included 2032 people undergoing colonoscopy. Use of the CADe-assisted module increased the number of polyps detected: mean 1.56 versus 1.21, an increase of 8 per cent, P<0.0001.
Comment: Seems a no-brainer, but will it prevent more cancers developing?
