The EAGLE Study: Surgeons working together to benefit their patients

Listen to The EAGLE Study webinar to catch-up and hear more about the results, and plans for EAGLE 2:

Evaluation of a quality improvement intervention to reduce anastomic leak following right colectomy (EAGLE): pragmatic, batched stepped-wedge, cluster-randomized trial in 64 countries.

The EAGLE study was delivered across 64 countries, with more than 3000 surgeons taking part in the study. EAGLE has tested an online educational platform for harmonising right sided bowel anastomosis. The study details have been published in the British Journal of Surgery: https://doi.org/10.1093/bjs/znad370.

The online training platform is now open access and freely available at https://eagle-escp.eu.com/.

We want as many surgeons as possible to visit the website and undertake this free short course. It takes take no more than 2 hours to complete.

Please join us at the webinar on 5th December at 13:00 GMT if you want to learn more, reserve your place at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/escpstudies.
