Dear Editor
We thank Taylor et al. for drawing our attention to an inconsistency in our methodology description, and appreciate being given the opportunity to provide clarification. On review of our data, we can confirm that we did use the correct volumetric equation of V=4/3π(abc), where a, b and c represent the measurements lengths of the three semi-axes. When describing this in the methods section, we referred to the semi-axes using x, y and z. However, x, y and z are then subsequently and misleadingly used to refer to the full axis length (i.e. the diameter, rather than the radius).
