Some 1402 patients were followed for a 4.2 months, where median recurrence-free survival was not reached In either group, and the hazard ratio for recurrence-free survival in the vibostolimab-pembrolizumab group vs. pembrolizumab alone group was 1.25 (95 per cent confidence interval 0.9 to 1.8). Treatment related serious adverse events occurred in 11 per cent of participants in vibostolimab-pembrolizumab group compared to 4 per cent in the pembrolizumab group.
Comment: Very short follow-up leading to immature data; pembrolizumab monotherapy remains standard of care.
