Some 4087 participants were included in the 10-year analysis, and ipsilateral breast recurrence was similar across all groups. Some 469 patients enrolled in the nodal substudy, and at median follow-up of 7 years, 32 locoregional recurrences were reported.

Comment: Long-term follow-up confirms that 26 Gy over 5 fractions is safe and efficacious when compared to higher dose, supporting its use as standard of care.
