Some 100 women were included and followed for 2 years, and the mean difference in quality-adjusted life years (QALY) was not significantly different between groups. Incremental cost-effectiveness ratio were €1 716/QALY and €59 679/QALY from societal and healthcare perspectives, respectively.
Comment: Lymphaticovenous anastomosis was more costly than conservative therapy but may be cost-effective from a societal perspective.
