Enjoy the recording of our inaugural BJS Academy Virtual Journal Club, led by the Young BJS Board, which was held LIVE on 02 April 2026.
This session features two trainee presentations followed by expert-led discussion, exploring the important themes of surgeon wellbeing and resilience through the papers “Second victim syndrome in surgeons: systematic review and meta-analysis of the impact of adverse events on surgeons” (BJS) and “Association of resilience and psychological flexibility with surgeons’ mental wellbeing” (BJS Open). The session concluded with a moderated discussion and questions submitted by the audience.
