Comparison of four surgical approaches for rectal prolapse: multicentre randomized clinical trial.

A total of 122 patients were available for analysis. All the different procedures improved quality of life, with similar rates of complications. Recurrence rates were higher than expected for all procedures.

Comment: Probably too few patients to make fair comparison, but worrying recurrence rates.
