Gunnarson T, Bergman S, Parsson H, Gottsater A, Lindgren H.
Eur J Vasc Endovasc Surg 2023; 65: 513-519.
In this study that included 100 patients, after 30 months, insertion of a stent improved role physical quality of life (QoL) scores, but not overall QoL, compared to best medical therapy. By 60 months QoL was similar in the two groups.
Comment: endovascular intervention for SFA disease is not a good long term solution.
