Preoperative diet and exercise for two weeks in live donors improved early liver function and liver regeneration (P=0.03) in recipients in this study of 62 procedures. It also reduced the risk of early graft dysfunction, P=0.043
Comment: A strategy that should be easy for live donors makes a difference in recipients.
